Description

This home has all of the style of a classic Country French design. The exterior is a visual feast, with a clay chimney cap, shutters, multiple roof lines, dormers, and timbered entry. A mixture of materials – stone, cedar, brick, stucco and timber combine to give this home a rich texture and uncommon character. Built on a sloped site the lowest level contains abundant storage, three generous bedrooms, a bathroom, family room and computer center. The main level living is oriented to take full advantage of the site’s primary view to the rear; with the master bedroom, living room, kitchen and family room all looking out to the view. All the main rooms also have easy access to the sheltered rear covered porch and deck. The dining area is private, an exceptional space for formal or informal entertaining. Upstairs, a large bedroom is placed over the garage area while a full bathroom is nestled beneath an eye-catching shed dormer which features a gracefully curved roof. The balcony overlooks the foyer while a study looks into the family room and out the window wall to the view beyond. On the other end of the home, a private office is located above the master bath and closet accessed by a stairway found behind the fireplace.
